Lease Analyst

Salary: $60K – $100K

Location:  Houston, TX

Job Description/Requirements:

  1. LEASE DATA ENTRY- Input newly acquired leases into BOLO system (includes all provisions, obligations, rentals, etc.)
  2. CONTRACT DATA ENTRY- Input all newly acquired contracts into BOLO system (includes all ROW/Easements, JOA’s, F/O, Surface Use Agreements, etc.)
  3. CHECK REQUESTS- Prepare Internal Check Request with appropriate coding, route for approval, provide necessary documentation to Accounting, distribute to broker/landowner in timely manner
  4. RENTAL PAYMENT CALENDARS- Process monthly rentals for payment, update system for future rentals due
  5. MONTHLY LEASE/CONTRACT MAINTENANCE- Terminate/Inactivate leases that have expired or are released, update depth restrictions per pugh clause
  6. DOCUMENT RECORDING- Call clerk and calculate recording fees, prepare check requests, prepare transmittal, mail, track and scan/file and provide copy to partners if applicable
  7. MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENTS- All new service vendors need MSA’s in place in order to do business with Indigo companies. Work with Scott Marrs to resolve all issues and changes.
  8. LANDOWNER INQUIRIES- Case by case basis
  9. SET UP OWNERS FOR ACCOUNTING- New Vendors and Financial Entities for ACH
  10. UPDATE BOLO NEW PRODUCING WELLS-Tie all leases and contracts to new wells that have come online, maintain well status of all Indigo wells (prd, shut-in, P/A, etc)
  11. MAINTENANCE DOCUMENTS- Follow up with brokers on pending Corrections, Amendments, Subordinations, etc. and correct information in the system accordingly
  12. QUERIES/REPORTS- Case by case basis upon request
