We are open from 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday, and available by cell before and after business hours.
Types of Candidates Represented:
We represent candidates in the following categories - Administrative/Clerical, Accounting, Degreed and Non-degreed and Legal including legal secretaries and paralegals, as well as Oil & Gas technical positions.
Screening/Testing:
Candidates of Cheryl Garcia & Company are received by appointment only. Our candidate resources are reputation, candidate referrals, client referrals, internet recruiting, direct recruiting, and networking. An in-depth application is completed and an interview is given to each applicant. The candidate is questioned about each job on their resume, the reason for leaving, location desired, salary desired, career goals and any other information pertinent to the candidate’s job search. Careful evaluation of this information leads to the successful matching with our client companies.
Evaluating skills is done by testing in the following appropriate areas: typing, spelling, payroll, math, proofreading, filing, bookkeeping, data entry, 10-key and computer software.
